Stakeholder Engagement

We are committed to engaging with our stakeholders through open dialogue to understand the issues that are important to them and relevant to our business.

We provide stakeholders with feedback mechanisms to ensure they have the opportunity to voice any questions or concerns, through our website, one-on-one meetings, discussions at conferences, focused satisfaction and engagement surveys, and input from sectoral and cross-sectoral initiatives.

Our stakeholder groups include: our parent company, clients, tenants, employees, various real estate groups, service providers, government and the communities where we operate.

Industry Initiatives

We participate in various industry associations and are leading discussions on advancing sustainability initiatives.

REALpac (Real Property Association of Canada) – We participate in REALpac’s Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability Committee, support initiatives to increase awareness of energy conservation for existing and new commercial real estate and participate in the annual REALpac Energy Benchmarking Survey.

Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) and its regional chapters – Through our Board membership, we support initiatives to increase awareness of energy and climate change issues, and incentives to increase energy and carbon efficiency investments.

Canada Green Building Council – We support initiatives to increase green buildings and investments on energy and carbon efficient technologies.

Commercial Real Estate Development Association (NAIOP) – We support initiatives to increase awareness of energy and climate change issues as part of the broader mandate for real estate operations.
