Livmore Westboro Achieves LEED Silver Certification

We are pleased to announce that Livmore Westboro has earned LEED Silver Certification, representing an important step in our efforts to prioritize environmental responsibility in residential development. This achievement is the result of targeted strategies during design, construction and ongoing operational efforts to create a sustainable and healthy living environment.

To meet LEED Silver standards, Livmore Westboro adopted measures such as enhanced indoor air quality strategies, energy-efficient building systems, smart thermostat technologies and water-saving fixtures. The use of environmentally responsible materials and a dedicated waste management program were also key contributors.

Livmore Westboro is a vibrant 36-storey community located at Scott and McRae streets in Ottawa, delivering 336 units suited to a diverse range of residents. It joins other Livmore communities in Toronto, Montreal and Edmonton, each reflecting our commitment to quality and innovative urban living. Since the brand’s launch in 2017, the Livmore portfolio has grown to offer upscale residences in major Canadian cities.

Our pursuit of green building certifications extends across our portfolio, with 88% of eligible properties certified by the end of 2024. This ongoing dedication supports our vision for sustainable communities across Canada.

This milestone would not have been possible without the dedicated work of our construction manager, Ron Eastern Construction Ltd., whose leadership, together with the commitment of their subtrades and contractors, ensured every aspect of construction aligned with our sustainability goals. We also extend our gratitude to the team from Stantec, our LEED consultant, whose guidance kept the entire construction team focused on acquiring the necessary points to achieve LEED Silver status.
