Global Head of Real Estate, Great-West LIFECO
Paul oversees a global real estate platform that totals $28 billion in assets under management, in Canada, the U.S., U.K. and Ireland. He works closely with these four regional offices to expand Great-West LIFECO’s real estate business by attracting third-party investors and continuing to grow our existing client base.
Previously, Paul was President of GWL Realty Advisors for 18 years. Under his leadership, Paul grew the company’s real estate portfolio from $800 million in Canada to $17 billion in Canada and the U.S. Paul has over 30 years’ experience in the real estate Industry. He holds a Bachelor and a Master of Applied Science degree from Queen’s University and a Master of Business Administration degree from McGill University.
Ralf is responsible for the overall Canadian management and growth of GWL Realty Advisors’ real estate portfolio, including strategic direction, business development, asset and property management and specialized real estate advisory services to pension funds and institutional investors.
Ralf joined GWL Realty Advisors in 2000 and most recently served as the company’s Executive Vice President & Chief Operating Officer. Ralf has over 35 years of real estate industry experience, including positions held with CIBC Development Corporation and Cadillac Fairview Corporation Limited. Ralf has a CPA, CMA designation.
Vice President, Human Resources
Maureen Carey leads the Human Resources team at GWL Realty Advisors and develops and directs the HR strategy. Working with the leadership team, she is responsible for spearheading employee engagement, leadership development and performance management initiatives as an integral component of the company’s strategic direction.
Maureen has extensive experience in the HR field working in a variety of industries. She holds a BA in Political Science and a BSW in Social Work from McMaster University. She also possesses her Certified Human Resources Executive designation (CHRE) with the HRPA.
Executive Vice President, Investments & Development
Jeff is responsible for stewarding overall client growth initiatives. In this role, he provides leadership, coordination and oversight to both the National Development and National Investment teams across the country.
Jeff has over 25 years of experience in the real estate industry of which 20 years have been with GWL Realty Advisors. He holds a degree in Finance from Brigham Young University (1993) and obtained his CFA designation in 2000. He is a licensed Realtor® in both Alberta and British Columbia.
Executive Vice President, Business Development & Client Services
Don has overall responsibility for client management, research services and strategy, and new business development initiatives. Don joined GWL Realty Advisors in 2000 and has held several senior positions within the organization in asset management and development.
Don has more than 30 years of real estate industry experience, including positions held with CIBC Development Corporation, The Cadillac Fairview Corporation Limited and Royal LePage Commercial Inc. He holds a BA (Hons) Political Science from Carleton University.
Executive Vice President, Portfolio Management
Steven is responsible for the overall management and performance of two open-end, segregated funds and several direct investment accounts. He joined GWL Realty Advisors in 2000 and has held several positions, most recently Senior Vice President, Investments.
Steven has 21 years of real estate experience. He holds a BA in Urban Studies (Honours) from the University of Toronto and an MBA from Wilfrid Laurier University.
Senior Vice President, Multi-residential
Anne Morash leads GWL Realty Advisors team which oversees the asset and property management of over 10,000 apartment units across Canada. Anne was with Primaris REIT leading and implementing its national development strategies, with Cadillac Fairview where Anne was responsible for several development projects and with Ivanhoe Cambridge where she held senior development and leasing positions.
Anne sits on the Governance Committee of the ULI. Anne was a Board member of West Park Health Care Centre, Queens Quay West Land Corporation and a founding member of Toronto CREW.
Tanyss Price, CPA, CA
Executive Vice President & Chief Financial Officer
Tanyss joined GWL Realty Advisors in November 2003 and has held the senior leadership positions of Vice President, Portfolio Management and Vice President, Investments. In her current role, she is responsible for overseeing the organization’s Finance and Information Technology functions as well as its governance model.
Tanyss holds a BComm from the University of Saskatchewan and a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CA) designation.
Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer
Glenn is responsible for the leadership, performance and strategic direction of GWL Realty Advisors’ assets in Canada. The portfolio is comprised of office, industrial, retail and residential assets.
Glenn has over 20 years of real estate industry experience and has held leadership positions in both leasing and asset management at GWLRA Realty Advisors. Currently, Glenn is on the University of Guelph Real Estate Program Advisory Board and is a co-founder of ‘Swing for the Cure,’ a local charitable initiative.
