Canada Life Campus launches Two Community Initiatives

GWL Realty Advisors is excited to announce two community initiatives taking place at the Canada Life Campus this summer.

The Campus launched a community garden, which was planted by the Garden Committee and their children on Saturday, May 25th. The garden is located along the West fence line of the North Lawn and features over 27 varieties of flowers and herbs that have been specifically chosen to support butterflies and their local bee colony.

The garden will provide community members with fresh local produce and a place to host agricultural workshops. It will also be a great way to introduce the Campus’ daycare children to nature, and it will offer campus members access to the garden space. Combined, these factors will help encourage and support a strong sense of community and friendship within the Campus.

The second new community event happening at the Campus is the Courtyard Farmers’ Market. The market will run for 21 weeks, every Tuesday, starting May 28th and ending on October 15th, 2019

Each Tuesday, from 8am to 2pm, at 190 Simcoe St. in the Courtyard, local farmers, unique artisans and eclectic entrepreneurs will gather in the spirit of community, fun and wellness. Over twenty vendors will be selling produce, flowers, crafts, artisanal goods, and a variety of freshly prepared local and international foods.

We are proud of the strong sense of community that is being instilled at the Canada Life Campus between campus members and visitors.
